Following the #hushpuppi trends on social media, Nigerians have been reacting positively to the arrest of multi billionaire Raymond Abbas Igbalodely popularly known as Hushpuppi, an Instagram influencer. He was accused and arrested weeks ago by the Dubai Police, alongside his counterpart Obinwanne Okeke also known as Mr Woodberry for a multi-million-dollar cyber fraud and money laundering. Nigerians are reacting to the fact that the arrest of Hushpuppi and his friend Mr Woodberry should serve as a lesson to many others involved in fraudulent act, as Hushpuppi and Woodberry have been handed over to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and extradited to the United States of America.
